For the 2024 Manchester City Kit Campaign, we dived deep into the rich history and culture behind each kit, ensuring that every detail reflected the identity of both the club and its fans. As the lead producer, I worked alongside my colleague Sam Moir and the creative talents at LACED Creative from Manchester, to keep the city's essence at the heart of this project.
Home Kit: This kit draws inspiration from the iconic 1970s era when City won both domestic and European titles. The classic sky-blue design incorporates a clean, minimalist aesthetic with subtle detailing that nods to the club’s heritage. Photographer Dean Martindale brought this legacy to life, capturing the connection between past and present in our visuals.
Away Kit: With Edward Cooke behind the lens, the away kit explores deeper cultural elements of Manchester, blending the city’s industrial past with modern creativity. It features a black and gold palette, reminiscent of past kits but with a modern twist. The design serves as a tribute to the club's resilience and success through changing times.
Third Kit: Shot by Maximilian Hetherington, this bold design was launched during Manchester City's U.S. tour, celebrating the fusion of cultures between New York and Manchester. The kit, with its striking colors and patterns, represents City’s forward momentum and global outreach
Working with the production agency Falca and photographers who truly understood the significance of these kits ensured that each shot encapsulated the passion, culture, and future of Manchester City.
